As we approach the new year, it’s nearly time for us to publish the next worship assistant schedule, & we’d welcome your help! There’s a LOT happening in the worship arena around Holy Trinity these days, and it truly is the “work of the people” that makes it so! FIRST, our 10:45 nursery has been literally overflowing! Thus, if you’d be willing to help at any service, please contact coordinator Jill Schroeder at jschroeder71@yahoo.com. SECOND, if you’d be willing to serve as Fellowship Host, we'd love to add your name to those who share in this essential hospitality ministry! Please contact the church office. THIRD, if you are new among us & would be willing to help serve in any worship assistant role, please send an E-mail to Pastor Tim indicating your willingness, & the accompanying service time. Thanks in advance for helping us make ALL of this possible!
Join us for Lenten Soup Suppers
Starting on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 22nd and continuing through the Lenten season, we invite you to take part in a great Lenten tradition—Holy Trinity Soup Suppers! They will be served up from 5:30-6:15pm each week, just prior to our Mid-week worship series of Holden Evening Prayer each week from 6:30-7:00pm. Typically, each week we will feature a couple of soup options along with various breads, veggies, and finger food—not to mention great fellowship! Would you like to help prepare and serve one of the meals? It is a great opportunity to work alongside and get to know others! Watch for the clipboard in worship, & plan to be a part!
Donations for the North Liberty Food Pantry
Because of the current economic situation, the North Liberty Food Pantry is facing an increased demand for its services. Supporting the Pantry is one way to help people with their immediate needs. In addition, it shows our concern and compassion. The Servant Ministry Team continues to provide a shopping cart in the front entry as a place where we can drop off the non-perishable food items we wish to donate. The third Sunday of each month is designated "Food Pantry Sunday," but you can bring donations any time. Each month we will tell you about items that the Food Pantry especially needs. The special need for March is "fruit." Of course, any non-perishable items are welcomed.
