The recent opportunity to be involved in projects at the new site has served as a golden opportunity for me to remember and to appreciate the ways in which so much ministry takes place not in “church” per se, but within the daily lives and work of those who make up our community of faith.

Luther once remarked that the most faithful thing a Christian cobbler might do is “build good shoes.”

At the annual meeting, the Council shared their hopes to provide more forums in which they might share the state of the congregation. The pace of the spring, along with previously planned forums, have not allowed us much of an opportunity to do so.

We would, however, like to invite you to an informal conversation with the Visioning Council at 9:00am, Sunday, June 26th (8:15 service will be a bit shorter this Sunday).
